Though Greenbrier has been around for more than 200 years, its casino is a relatively new addition. What that means for you is that the casino club boasts top-of-the-line electronic games, alongside high-paced table games in a luxurious atmosphere.

With more than 100,000 square feet of gaming, the Greenbrier Casino Club games have something for every player. 320 slot machines should keep slots fans busy, while blackjack, roulette, poker, mini-baccarat and craps are offered across 37 tables.

You should be aware that the gaming floor is only available to overnight resort guests, members of the Greenbrier clubs, and some attendees of events and conventions hosted at the hotel. You also must be 21 years and older to play, and abide by the casino’s dress code (resort attire before 7:00 p.m., and jackets for men after 7 p.m.).

Table game fans will also love that private games can be arranged per guest’s requests. For all those who are able to play, an incredible experience awaits you. See a full list of Greenbrier Casino games below:

  • Slots
  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Three Card Poker
  • Texas Hold ‘em
  • Mini-Baccarat
  • Craps

Those looking for an exclusive gaming environment will surely be satisfied by the casino’s club atmosphere: after all, the resort regularly plays home to America’s elite (including 27 presidents!).

The casino has relatively few slot machines compared to other West Virginia casinos, so slot enthusiasts may enjoy our Mountaineer Casino review; it boasts over 1,000 terminals. All video and table gaming in the state are regulated by West Virginia Lottery Commission.

Online Casino Games at Greenbrier

At the moment, Greenbrier Casino Club online games are not available. Since the resort prides itself on its luxurious club atmosphere, its focus is really on in-person gameplay for its lucky guests and members. This review will of course be updated if Greenbrier Casino Club online games become available.

The casino does however offer an app for sportsbetting via FanDuel. It is available for all customers located in West Virginia, using Apple or Android devices, and accepts all major payment options.

Greenbrier’s FanDuel Sports Betting

Greenbrier has officially opened it’s FanDuel sportsbook. Visitors of the casino are able to bet on all major US sports, including baseball, soccer, football, basketball and more. The sportsbook is located on the casino property and is opened during the casino’s standard opening hours. It features 21 screens for your viewing pleasure.

West Virginia players (21+ years of age) can now place online sports bets whenever they are located in the state’s borders. If you download the official FanDuel sports betting app from the Greenbrier website you can place sports bets at home with the push of a button. Mobile and online sports betting are becoming the preferred method to gamble for WV players.

Getting the Best Perks from Casino Promotions

Unfortunately, Greenbrier Casino Club promotions are not on par with more WV casinos. Unlike most casinos in the US, which have great daily or weekly incentives for regular patrons, the Greenbrier does not have any special gambling events, bonus slots, or giveaways.

The reason for this is probably because the Greenbrier is such an exclusive place to play. Its members do not need promotions to interest them: People want to play at Greenbrier for its one-of-a-kind club environment.

Nonetheless, Greenbrier Casino Club does have a loyalty program with some special perks for members. You can read about this more in-depth in the following section.

Membership Programs & More

The luxury experience is not only for Greenbrier’s esteemed hotel guests: It extends to its loyal casino patrons in the form of its Players Club rewards. Any visitor to the casino can register in person, for free, and start collecting G-Rewards points with every game they play.

Once you are registered and collecting Greenbrier Casino Club rewards, you can use your points on fabulous perks within the resort complex. Just to give you an idea, these include: complimentary accommodations, spa treatments, speciality merchandise, drinks and dining, and participation in a host of enriching activities on the premises.

Not Just A Casino: What Else To Explore

The Greenbrier has so many incredible features, it is hard to know where to begin. First of all, the resort spans 11,000 acres of land, in the picturesque Allegheny Mountains. Fans of nature will have plenty to explore on its expansive grounds, including golf, tennis, equestrian facilities, hunting and hiking.

The resort also boasts a famous mineral spa (this is actually how the resort began!), alongside designer boutiques and the very best in fine dining.

It was eventually purchased by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway and its offerings were expanded. It received its current name in 1914, and quickly became a destination for presidents and America’s well-to-do.

The Greenbrier Casino Club is America’s Luxury Casino Club

The Greenbrier Casino Club is America’s only private casino, and therefore one of the most exclusive sources of gaming and entertainment in the world. It is a one-of-a-kind experience to play here, not to mention the extensive offerings of the resort complex.

That being said, not everyone will get a chance to play here, since it is only open to guests and Greenbrier members. There are plenty of other wonderful casinos to visit in the state, so read our West Virginia land-based casino reviews here.
